Welcome to Show & Tell Friday! Every Friday I will share with you what I am working on and I hope you will share with me what you are working on.
Right now I am working on get well cards for my Grandpa who went into a nursing home on Monday for some rehab and I want to make a bunch of cards for him as he LOVES my handmade cards. Well, I bought the Wild Card Cricut cartridge thinking the ideas would just flow from it…nope not really! Well, I was able to get out 2 birthday cards for my brother using the cartridge. My goal is to make at least a dozen cards this weekend and get them mailed Monday so my Grandpa’s wife can take him a card a day. If anyone has ANY ideas that would help me…please share them with me!
I will be sharing the cards that I make with you throughout the weekend. :=)

Welcome to Show & Tell Friday! Every Friday I will share with you what I am working on and I hope you will share with me what you are working on. This week has been a crazy one with me trying to get some last minute layouts done for a up and coming cyber crop on the If It’s Groovy blog! Be sure and check it out…there will be some great challenges…it is from June 4th until June 14th! Ok, back to the subject at hand…I worked on a fabulous layout for a contest this week. I used my Cricut Expression and the Graphically Speaking cartridge. The specific shape I used was the butterfly (icon image30) and I used the “fit to page” feature from a 12 x 12 sheet of paper. Here is a picture of what the butterfly looks like all blown up…

For this weeks Show & Tell challenge…I would like for you to do a layout in the shape of something!
Have fun with this! Don’t forget to show me your creations to be entered in the drawing for a prize! Don’t forget that the first prize drawing will be Monday, June 1, 2009!

Welcome to Show & Tell Friday! Every Friday I will share with you what I am working on and I hope you will share with me what you are working on. I can not share with you the exact project that I worked on this week because it is for the If It’s Groovy Design Team, but I have created a tutorial for you. Ok, below is the tutorial for a really simple chipboard mini album!
Chipboard Mini Album
Follow these instructions to make a mini album out of chipboard. This project should take less than an hour to make!
Materials Needed
* 3″x 4″ pieces of chipboard (as many as you would like)
* Book ring
* Adhesive
* Some pretty patterned paper cut to 3”x4” pieces (double the amount of chipboard pieces)
* Coordinating ribbon and fiber
* Photos
* Embellishments
1. First you will cover each of the chipboard pages with the patterned paper. Be sure to cover the back sides as well.
2. Add your photos, embellishments, journaling and any other touches to the cover and pages.
3. When done punch a hole through the upper left hand corner of each page.
4. Thread each page onto the book ring and tie on some coordinating ribbon and fibers to finish it off.
Have fun with this! Don’t forget to show me your creations to be entered in the drawing for a prize! Being that I am starting off on a Friday the first prize drawing will be Monday, June 1, 2009!
